Day 7 Merimbula

We had promised the boys a trip to Magic Mountain today. With the day being pretty dismal the water slides looked like a good option. The boys had their faces painted especially for the occasion.

 Much to every ones horror the mountain was closed due to the rain. A complete meltdown was averted with a promise of McDonalds for lunch.

After lunch we headed out to Merimbula Wharf. We watched a couple fishing, bring in 5 small Yellowtail in about 10 minutes. They made it look so easy that we raced back and grabbed our rods.

Of course we got nothing but Joel gave it a good go.

One of the few seconds Mum wasn't holding Cody by the scruff of the neck.

The wharf is about 7 metres above the water and mum was freaking enough with Joel standing near the edge, let alone Cody, who is known for his craziness and complete clumsiness, thus the vest.

The call finally came this is boring i want to do something exiting and so...................................

Of course there was alot of Psych up time before the initial plunge and plenty of aborted attempts. All while dad floundered in the water below. The video tells the tale
