NOVEMBER 2012 - Day1-4

Stop 1 - Broulee

Hello, we are on the road again.  Heading south this time with no real plans as to how far south we are heading, Joels sole purpose is to find a park with a water slide.

Covered in dirt after 1st stack - seconds after arrival at Broulee caravan park. There were tears earlier.
Morning walk to Broulee Island to look at (semi) secret surf spot but don't tell the boys. They wern't this happy the whole 2 hour round trip!

Beautiful Broulee - but no surf to be seen.
Luckily there was good surf a little bit further south at the Moruya Breakwall and at South Broulee and much to dads surprise he got to surf the first three days!
Accidental photo - quite effective though.

Dad and boys playing silly buggers.

Good one Dad - 2nd stack of the holiday caught on camera.

Day trip to Congo

Congo Camping Ground, penciled in for the return trip home.

Tomakin

Dancing to awaken the surf gods

Tomakin shore break.

Obviously Joel didn't dance hard enough.  Nose diving aplenty.

Potato Point

On arrival Joel said this place was boring, but then they spotted the park  we couldn't get them out of the joint.

.

We were planning on staying a few days at Potato Point -but on arrival found it full of Ultimate campers for their annual muster.  We decided to continue on further south but hope to stay here on return trip, the howling noreaster didn,t make it too inviting either. Great spot though right on the beach no power or water but you can have fires.

Merimbula

So we continued on to Merimbula where we were planning on staying later in the trip, and much to the boys delight a van park with 3 pools and a jumping pillow and if dads lucky the legendary wave at the Merimbula Bar might even break.

Merimbula local waiting for the BBQ to fire up.

View from boys window at Merimbula Caravan Park.
